My son was born in Dubai and was registered in Philippine Consulate in Dubai but when we requested a birth certificate from NSO his middle name is missing please advice procedure and requirements to process a affidavit of supplemental for his middle name to appear on his birth certificate.

I was told by the church that I need a CENOMAR from my consulate. How do I apply for this? hi, my MRP philippine passport will expire on February 2013. I am planning to go to Germany this October however their requirement is that the passport should not be less than 6 months valid beyond date of travel and they do not accept prolonged passport. Hi, I am applying for a visa in Germany and one of their requirement is that the passport should not be less than 6 months valid beyond the travel date and they do not accept prolonged passport. My MRP passport will expire on 27 February 2013, and my travel date in this coming October, given that the German embassy will need 15-30 days to process the visa.

My question is can I now apply for the renewal of my passport? Is applying for the new Epassport different with renewal of my MRP passport? How long will it take to process the passport?

Our nanny is on her months vacation at home in the Philipines. She is due to fly back to Dubai on the 2nd August. All flights are booked and on Thursday she contacted me to say that she has been told in the Philipines that she needs an employment contract from the Philipines consulate in Dubai. I had dual birth registration and because of this petition had been made and the Manila City Hall had issued “Certificate of Finality”.

NSO already issued my new birth certificate with annotation of the above issue. Now the birth place of the new birth certificate which was issued is not anymore tallied with my current passport as my current passport’s basis of my birth place was of course my old birth certificate.

What is then your procedure on this? Replacing the current passport? What are the requirements do you need from me? I have here with me the original copy of the petiton and the Certificate of Finality from the Manila City Hall. Would this be enough document for replacing my passport? How long it will take to get the replacement? Is there an expidite service here just as DFA in the Philippines?

If amendment of machine readable passport is possible, how does it work? Do you edit only the details that requires changing like the birth place in the passport for that to tally with the new birth certificate issued by NSO then keep the current original passport since it is not yet expiring with an affidavit that you’ve done such amendment or you are replacing the current passport with the whole new passport indicating new issue date and new expiry date? Do I need to bring along with me a passport photo?

Every year me and my son travels to Dubai to visit my husband. We are scheduled to go there 2nd week of August. I was informed by my friend that there are forms from your office (for authentication) that my husband needs to fill in and the processing requires 3 weeks. Is this a new policy? We traveled last August but we only presented our visa and passport and no forms like this were asked.

Just need an urgent reply on this inquiry, I would like to ask if my husband would need to secure an affidavit of support and guarantee if he would sponsor me on a husband visa (permanent residence visa and not visit visa) because I have visited the consulate today and was advised that is it not required and since I checked your website, there’s no application form applicable for such. The form in this website is only “affidavit of support and guarantee for VISIT or tourist visa” but not for permanent residency. I resigned from my job and will be exiting to Philippines and my husband is planning to bring me back on a husband sponsorship after a month’s time here in the uae. The consulate provided me a duly signed and stamped certificate of residency and unemployment and they said it’s enough since I had been working here in the UAE for at least five years. Please advise what will be required by BI in the Philippines if I am coming back to the UAE with a valid husband(permanent) visa sponsorship.

Another question, since we got married in the Philippines and our marriage certificate has been authenticated by dfa and red ribbon and authenticated by UAE embassy in the Philippines but the passport I am using is my passport when I am still single bearing my maiden name (still did not have time to change my passport into my husband last name due to tight schedules at work), Do we still need any certificate or attestation from Dubai Consulate before he proceeds processing my visa in UAE immigration? As from UAE DNRD website, just our passports, photos, tenancy and duly authenticated Marriage Certificate (which we already have) are required but we just want to clarify if BI in the Philippines would need any other documents upon departure as we don’t want to be hold back in Philippine Airport as we are planning to come back together after a month’s vacation. We just need everything settled and processed properly and have all documents completed on time.

Because dfa requires a municipal copy of our birth certificate for the authentication.Is it ok to just have an authenticated copy of the birth certificate from the NSO?
