May OAVR totals 2888
31 May 2012 – The Consulate General of the Republic of the Philippines registered a total of 6,763 Overseas Absentee Voters to date. For the month of May, 2,888 were registered surpassing the initial May target of 2,000 registrants. This figure represents 43% of the total number of registrants indicating an increasing number of turnouts for OAVR.
To the surprise of those registering, the 6,500th– 6,505th were each treated with special sunglasses marked with the new tourism slogan “It’s More Fun in the Philippines” courtesy of the Department of Tourism (DOT).
In celebration of the Philippines’ 114th Independence Day, the Consulate General in partnership with Filcom Dubai-NE, shall set up a OAV registration booth on 8 June at Al Safa Stadium, 8am-5pm. Those who are planning to register are encouraged to bring a copy of their passports to facilitate the process.

Maganda po ang idea na online registration ngunit sa kasalukuyang platform na galing sa COMELEC, kailangan po na personal ang registration. May mga araw po ng Biyernes na nakalaan para sa registration bukod sa Sunday-Thursday. Mangyari po lamang na bantayan ang anunsyo dito sa aming website o sa aming Facebook page.
